Benedetto Custom Benny, 2011

This Benny is a very special custom guitar created with premium woods, selected and hand carved by Bob Benedetto. It is an absolute joy to play.

Acquired from the original owner - a gigging guitarist - this Benedetto has inspired him for over a decade. This exquisite instrument covers Gibson and Fender tonal territory with its chambered body, tapped dual humbuckers, and middle single coil pickup. Yet it has its own very special voice.

The craftsmanship is superb, which is not surprising; after all, the legendary Bob Benedetto signed the back of the headstock. The neck profile is smooth and sleek, and works comfortably with the 1 3/4" nut width. It's rare to find flame mahogany on an electric guitar, let alone matched with a flame maple top, but Bob artistically married the two premium  woods into gorgeous guitar.

I have played and owned many Benedettos; there is a certain magic in this Benny. If you are looking for that one electric that can cover all the bases and be a looker as well, this Benedetto Benny should definitely be on your radar.
