Preowned, condition, excellent +
It's beautiful. It's elegant. It's Grand. It's what a crossover guitar was meant to be. From Segovia to Jobim to Byrd to Sting, this Buscarino Grand Cabaret covers all the bases. It's as at home with a Bach prelude as it is with Fragile. The acoustic sound is sweet, warm and bold, thanks in part to its arched, carved back and lattice braced top. The added side port gives the player a front row seat to their music.
The Cabaret is the perfect blend of traditional classical guitar and an acoustic archtop guitar. Specifically designed to meet the needs of the jazz or fingerstyle player, the Cabaret is based on the Herman Hauser I classical guitar design. The Cabaret incorporates traditional classical building methods with the modern innovations necessary for today's jazz and fingerstyle playing. The graceful cutaway facilitates greater access for playing the upper register of the fretboard. Its carved back, unique among nylon-string guitars, enhances the lower midrange while aiding in projection. The two-way adjustable truss-rod gives easy access at the headstock for a perfect set-up. Special pickup systems are available for amplification of that beautiful acoustic sound.
CRAIG'S POVCondition: Excellent +, with a string change indentation mark below bridge on high E string.
Timing is everything. Years ago, I found myself going down the classical guitar rabbit hole. I was studying and practicing hard, trying to master the technique, which for me, a pick guy, wasn't easy. Classical guitar playing has lots of rules and lots of rigidness. On top of the rigors of playing the music, finding the right instrument was equally difficult. Many guitars went through my hands in the quest to find a guitar that felt like home to me. I just couldn’t find one to bond with. Until now. That's right. I really wish I had found this Buscarino Grand Cabaret back when nylon string guitars were front and center in my guitar life.

The added side port gives the player a front row seat to their music. The workmanship is at the absolute highest level, which is something you'd expect from master luthier John Buscarino. And it's gorgeous. Just take a look at it! The Pomelle bubinga is outstanding, as are all of its appointments. The playability is stellar. Fingers or a pick, it just doesn't matter because this guitar can handle it all. And to top it off, the Barbera pickup shows off all of the goodness when it's plugged in.
So, if a top of the line crossover is on your radar, I suggest you seriously consider this Buscarino Grand Cabaret while it is still here. Remember: timing is everything.
