One of the newest of Collings acoustic models, the C10-35 brings features of the sublime CJ35 to the body shape of Collings C10 model. What makes this guitar outstanding is that it sonically glows of vintage vibe right out of the box. The shading of the nitro cellulose sunburst finish, the feel of the vintage-inspired neck profile and bridge string spacing, the rich open woody tone; it all adds up to a supremely satisfying acoustic guitar experience from the very first strum.
As the newest addition to Collings' acoustic line-up, the C10-35 brings a new voice to one of Collings' favorite body sizes. This limited-production model features specially selected ultra-lightweight tonewoods, non-scalloped Adirondack bracing, a long cutthrough saddle, and other vintage-inspired features for an entirely new C10 experience. Like its big brother, the popular CJ-35 model, the C10-35 produces dry, punchy tone with a snarly attack and incredibly even response in a compact and comfortable package.
CRAIG'S POVOne of the newest of Collings acoustic models, the C10-35 brings features of the sublime CJ35 to the body shape of Collings C10 model. To my ears, what makes this guitar outstanding, and I really mean OUTSTANDING, is that it sonically glows of vintage vibe right out of the box. The shading of the nitro cellulose sunburst finish, the feel of the vintage-inspired neck profile and bridge string spacing, the rich open woody tone; it all adds up to a supremely satisfying acoustic guitar experience from the very first strum. This is a guitar that I would use anywhere, anytime and most likely find that it fits perfectly into any musical situation, be it a couch guitar, studio guitar or stage guitar. I really love guitars that inspire me to play and create; guitars that are hard to put down. I think Collings has once more done it again with this new C10-35.

ABOUT COLLINGS GUITARS
Bill Collings moved from Ohio to Texas in the mid 1970’s. Spurred by a lack of interest in medical school, this move enabled him to combine lifelong interests in both guitars and tools into the challenge of stringed instrument building and repair. After a couple of years in Houston, several guitars and a few banjos later, he headed west to southern California. Making it only as far as Austin, where he shared shops with fellow luthiers Tom Ellis and Mike Stevens. From there, he set up his own small shop in a wooden "one car" garage. His reputation for outstanding quality and meticulous attention to detail quickly spread. In 1989, he rented a 1000 square foot space and hired two helpers. Fast forward to present day where Collings craftsmanship is respected by professional and amateur musicians alike…anyone on the quest for quality. Some of these include artists; Keith Richards, Lyle Lovett, Pete Townshend, Emmylou Harris, Andy Summers, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, Joni Mitchell, Don Felder, John Sebastian, Lou Reed, John Fogerty, Tim O'Brien, Pete Huttlinger, Kenny Smith, Brian May, Joan Baez, John Prine, Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap, and Steven Spielberg to name a few. You owe it to yourself to try one.
