Preowned 2020, minty
I am highly impressed with this 60th Anniversary Les Paul. I firmly believe that GIbsons are hard to beat when Gibson really puts its heart into it. (You know what I mean.) This minty example is that legendary company at the top of its game. This LP is a non-aged, no-nonsense, lightweight, and acoustically resonant (8.3lbs) guitar that celebrates an iconic year in Gibson's long history.
Versions 1, 2 and 3 of Burst History. This limited-edition 60th Anniversary model celebrates the iconic 1960 Les Paul Standard, which has shaped music across genres for six decades. The artisans at Gibson Custom Shop have proudly recreated the experience of owning a priceless original thanks to painstaking attention to detail and tireless study of vintage examples, closely following the three distinct versions seen within 1960. Those made in the first third of the year (V1) had the same specs as 1959 models, while the middle third (V2) had thinner neck profiles, different knobs and brighter colors. The final third (V3) featured even thinner neck profiles. Each version is available within this historic limited run of instruments, inspiring players in different ways. Included is a 60th Anniversary switch plate, a commemorative Certificate of Authenticity booklet and a vintage replica hardshell case.
Accessories included: Certificate of Authenticity booklet, commemorative switch plate medallion (regular plate in case).
CRAIG'S POVI am highly impressed with this 60th Anniversary Les Paul. The original dealer hand-selected the maple top, which is stunning and really captures that old-school vibe. The V2 neck carve is righteous, not too thick and not too thin; very comfortable indeed. Its unpotted Custombucker pickups sound like…well, exactly the way you’d hope a Les Paul should sound.
The control knobs have been upgraded (the originals are in the case), and all the case candy is included. And if that's not enough, this mojo-infused six-string beauty has been set up by the legendary NYC luthier, Norio Imai.
If you'd like to find out more about this item, just call or e-mail me. It would be my pleasure to talk to you about it.
