CRAIG'S POVI really love the way this guitar turned out. Like all of Don's guitars, it is extremely resonant. I strongly believe that, in most cases, in order for a guitar to really sing through an amp, it needs to first sing without an amp. The truth is, I'm at the point where I don't even bother plugging in a guitar if it’s not first speaking to me acoustically. This guitar’s oiled neck, the jumbo SS frets, the rounded edges of the fingerboard that make it feel like the frets just melt into the figured Madagascar fingerboard - they all add up to an extremely seductive playing experience. Don still uses nitro for his finishes and the '59 Burst on this guitar is absolutely perfect. The SSH pickup combination to me is the most versatile pickup arrangement you can have - it always was the perfect recording configuration. Grosh's own pickups and his versatile wiring brings that format to a new level. This guitar seems to be able to nail the tones of my vintage Strats and then be able to travel past them into the outer stratosphere. Bottom line - this Grosh really is a killer.
