There are bespoke guitars and then there are BESPOKE GUITARS - guitars that are built with such a high level of artistry and craft that they could belong in a museum, if it weren't for the fact that they are extremely wonderful to play and a complete joy to own. The Perderson Custom Little Drea is truly a work of art; an artistic guitar that can produce tones and musicality to match any level of player. It's a one of a kind piece, an instrument for the most picky of collectors.

Since this awesome preowned beauty has a story that goes along with it, here are some thoughts shared by the original owner:

"I was looking for a totally custom build of a traditional LP style solid body guitar. As a collector and player, I wanted the best of the best in tone woods, design, artisanship and TONE. Who to select for this build??? I landed on Kevin Pederson….a 20 year, very experienced builder known for solid body guitars, thin line archtops as well as very high end acoustic masterpieces. After several lengthy discussions with Kevin….the project began. The carved top wood is a very select curly koa ordained with green lipped rippled abalone and Brazilian rosewood bindings. The neck is a superb koa/maple/koa laminate to provide ultimate sustain and longevity of life. The Brazilian rosewood 22 fret fingerboard is bound with Brazilian rosewood bindings. There is a 40,000 year old fossil walrus ivory nut. Kevin is a very seasoned inlay artist as well and he constructed the jungle cat mask inlay on the fingerboard in addition to other jungle cat inlays on the guitar. Atop the neck and fingerboard is a koa headstock to match the body with Brazilian rosewood bindings and green lipped abalone purflings. The body of this Little Drea is a highly figured mahogany that is chambered for optimum resonance and sustain. The tone and power of the guitar come from ThroBak SLE-101 Plus MXV pickups with one volume control and one tone control. Both controls split each of the humbuckers for alternate sound.
