A rare prototype example in excellent condition
Rick Toone builds guitars for players and collectors who are searching for an instrument that reflects their personal point of view, crafted by a luthier who has the skill and vision of a Renaissance man. Skillfully done and built with his own patent holding technologies, Rick Toone offers instruments that are head turning works of art, yet wonderfully playable. This Spearfish is the very first ever Spearfish and is absolutely unique. It serves as both prototype and as a new (pivotal) evolution of design thinking.

This is what Rick had to say about this Spearfish:
"This Spearfish is the very first ever Spearfish. It has the very first Element™ neck with headstock tuning. It is the only guitar I built with this body shape and it has a unique headstock shape that only appeared on a few early Spearfish. This guitar represents a whole new evolutionary branch of design philosophy. I wanted to return to headstock-based tuning yet keep the Element™ machined neck which many players love so much. So this Spearfish is absolutely unique. It serves as both prototype and as a new (pivotal) evolution of design thinking."
