The Sadowsky Frank Vignola archtop is a dual pickup version of Roger's renowned SS-15 model guitar. The body size is perfect for travel, and its sound is sweet, clear, and immediate. Its neck shape is a medium C with just the right amount of taper. The 1 3/4" nut width and the 24 3/4" scale length were perfect choices for this particular model. The 15" flamed body and vintage blonde amber finish make an elegant statement.
Frank Vignola is one of the most extraordinary guitarists performing before the public today. His stunning virtuosity has made him the guitarist of choice for many of the world’s top musicians including Ringo Starr, Madonna, Donald Fagen, John Lewis, Tommy Emmanuel, Lionel Hampton, the Boston Pops, the New York Pops, and guitar legend Les Paul, who named Vignola to his "Five Most Admired Guitarists List" for the Wall Street Journal.
Frank has recorded over 30 CD’s as a leader and has been a guest on hundreds of recordings. He has written over 18 educational music books, recorded the critically acclaimed, “Vignola Plays Gershwin” CD, and recorded 2 DVD’s for Mel Bay Publications. As with all Sadowsky guitars, the fretwork and setup are impeccable.
Sound-wise, it is right in the pocket! It can go where a great vintage dual pickup 175 can go, but with the added benefit of being more ergonomic and exquisitely playable. Bottom line - the Frank Vignola model is an exceptional guitar that speaks volumes to the artistry of both Roger and Frank. Well done, guys!!

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
