Preowned 2019, excellent
This guitar speaks - it says everything that's important to guitarists, from blistering, well-crafted, soulful tones to addictive playability. Roger's Broadway is a unique variation of an S-style electric guitar, where the quality and resonance of the wood rule. If you can only bring one guitar to a gig, the LS-13 should be a top contender. It covers the whole sonic pallet without missing a beat.
Condition: Excellent, with little signs of being played. A no-issue guitar
CRAIG'S POVWhen I opened the Sadowsky Broadway's cool case, the guitar nerd in me knew I was about to dig into something extraordinary. First, it came from Roger Sadowsky, who doesn't need any introduction. I mean, come on now, this man's client list of "who's who" is the envy of any luthier on the planet.
And so here I am, face to face with his latest and maybe most realized electric guitar build. Despite our years of friendship and his continued and unceasing dedication to his craftsmanship, I wasn't prepared for how stunning a riff on an S-style could be. The exquisite woods, finish, and design oozed the highest level of craft and inspiration.
This guitar speaks to me - it says everything that's important to me as a player, from blistering, well-crafted, soulful tones to addictive playability. Roger's Broadway brings to mind another incredible spruce-bodied guitar, my Taku Sakashta Spotlight. Both guitars are a unique variation of an S-style electric guitar, where the quality and resonance of the wood rule.
This Broadway is perfect for those who prefer a wider nut width than your typical S-style guitar. Roger crafted a nut width of 1 3/4" with 1 11/16 string spacing. The fingerboard's edges are then rounded to give the neck a warm, smooth, played-in feel.
I love the H/S/H pickup configuration when paired with Roger's proprietary preamp system. If you can only bring one guitar to a gig, I'd vote for the LS-13. This baby covers the whole sonic pallet without missing a beat. Great tones galore! Nothing in this beauty is left to chance. Roger has been R&D-ing this guitar for several years, and it all comes together from every angle you look at it. It's a beautifully envisioned, fantastic instrument, and you'll be thrilled to have it in your hands.

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
