This is precisely the kind of instrument that showcases why Sadowsky guitars are sought after by the world's most discriminating players. It takes everything we love about an S-style guitar and elevates it to new heights through masterful material selection, innovative electronics, and that unmistakable Roger Sadowsky attention to detail.
When Roger Sadowsky puts his mind to creating something special, magic happens. This S-style beauty showcases Roger's unparalleled attention to detail and innovative spirit, bringing together an extraordinary combination of premium tonewoods and electronics that sets it apart from anything else in the shop.
The marriage of roasted alder body with a master-grade mango top is inspired. The natural finish lets the stunning figure of that mango top take center stage, while the roasting process gives the alder body enhanced resonance and stability.
What really excites me is the unique pickup configuration - three Firebird pickups in an S-style format. It's a brilliant choice that delivers all the chime and clarity you'd expect, but with an added dose of power and midrange complexity, it's addictive. Combine that with Roger's proprietary preamp system and that push-pull tone knob for neck/bridge combinations, and you've got an absolutely stunning array of tonal possibilities at your fingertips.
The roasted maple neck with its Amazon rosewood fingerboard is another masterful touch. The 12" radius and 1 11/16" nut width provide a perfect platform for any playing style, while the roasting process ensures exceptional stability and a wonderfully organic feel. Roger's impeccable fretwork and rounded fingerboard edges are, as always, flawless - creating that signature buttery-smooth playability that makes a Sadowsky neck immediately recognizable under your fingers.
Whether you're looking for crystalline cleans or powerful overdriven tones, this guitar delivers with an authority and sophistication that's pure Sadowsky.

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
