Roger Sadowsky has built his legendary reputation on making a guitar that is utterly impeccable in all the fine details. From the wood to the electronics to his fret work (my God what fret work!!) well,  it is pretty much as close to perfection as you can get. As for the feel and playability of this beauty, well once again, Roger has brought his best game to play.

THE SADOWSKY GUITAR is the result of our years of experience working with the finest professional guitarists in New York and around the world. It is Sadowsky's opinion that the most important factor affecting the sound of solid body instruments is the acoustic quality of the wood. The better a guitar sounds acoustically, the better it always sounds, no matter what pickups, electronics, or amplification are used. The wood for Sadowsky instruments is carefully selected for acoustic resonance, light weight, and beautiful grain.

CRAIG'S POV

I am very fortunate to represent builders who care about the integrity of every aspect of their instruments - all the tiny details that go into making a good guitar a great PLAYING guitar.

Roger Sadowsky has built his legendary reputation on making a guitar that is utterly impeccable in all the fine details. From the wood to the electronics to his fret work (my God what fret work!!) well,  it is pretty much as close to perfection as you can get.

What I have here is his Vintage T- Style model put together the way I think works best. While Roger usually chambers his guitars to reduce their weight, I chose a resonant lightweight solid ash body with a contoured back. Really resonant wood is very important to me – because it contributes so much to the overall sound of the instrument.

The pickups are unique and exceptional sounding. The neck pickup is a custom wound Lollar Charlie Christian which gives you a big deep tone with a round top end and long sustain. Lovely. The matched Lollar bridge pickup is a greasy sounding "B.S."  that is big and fat and clear with loads of ripping sustain. Couple those fantastic pickups  with Roger’s deservedly famous mid boost/ gain circuit and you have an arsenal of tones at your command. Jazz, fusion, rock, blues, and country; this beast can swing the standards or tear the house down.

As for the feel and playability of this beauty, well once again, Roger has brought his best game to play. I love the look, vibe and sweet C profile of this awesome birdseye maple neck. It’s just stunning. The fretwork (did I mention the fretwork?) is textbook perfect, and the delicate satiny nitro finish on the neck lets your hand just glide.

From the accessibility of the truss rod to the perfection of every detail ( even the cool case and case candy) Roger has thought of everything to bring an inspirational guitar to the player. Plain and simple, this guitar is a killer.

If you'd like to find out more about this item, just call or e-mail me. It would be my pleasure to talk to you about it.

ABOUT SADOWSKY GUITARS
Mention the name Roger Sadowsky to your average guitar player, and you'll likely elicit a "Roger Who?" But that name is spoken in almost reverent tones amongst working musicians. Sadowsky has built this reputation by giving the modern guitarist and bassist what he needs--a no-nonsense, versatile, and reliable electric guitar that performs great and sounds better. Of course, these are claims made by every guitar company in existence; but Sadowsky Guitars is one of the very few companies that can actually back it up. Sadowsky Guitars is based in Long Island City, in Queens New York where founder Roger Sadowsky built the business from the ground up in 1979, after 7 years of guitar luthier training. Today, the Sadowsky company has around 10 employees and caters to guitarists such as; Walter Becker, Jim Hall, Chuck Loeb, Russell Malone, Jimmy Bruno, and Lee Ritenour.
