Many luthiers in this era create instruments that grow directly from a few iconic designs. But relatively few have expanded their design platforms beyond Fender and Gibson guitars. This is not a criticism, but there are other inspiring designs out there, even if not as fully explored as the big names.

Joe Yanuziello is a luthier based in Canada who was interested in other styles. His particular love for vintage Danelectro and Harmony instruments has led him to create one of the most sought-after instruments in the boutique electric guitar market.

This preowned 2022 Curly Koa Deluxe beauty is exquisite with a musical heart that is woody and rich with character. Like all Yanuziello electrics, it has a singularly unique sound that you hear even when playing the simplest notes. It's alive and invites the player to find their voice rather than dictate any particular style. Playing a single chord on a Yanuziello fills a lot of space beautifully.

Joe's artistry is masterful; it is lutherie of the highest order. This stunner is crafted with a one-piece mahogany body married to a stunning premium curly top. From the righteous neck carve, handmade knobs, pickguard, tailpiece, and bridge, this guitar is made with love and meant to inspire the player. No wonder pros like Bill Frisell and Kevin Briet play them.

This sweet Yaz, with a curly Koa top and mahogany body, is just magical. A perfect combination of form and function. The quintessential voice of a Yanuziello. This little beast was lovingly cared for and is one of the nicest playing and sounding examples that has come through the shop.
