Like every artist Joe Yanuziello is always looking for new territory to conquer, the next mountain to climb. Enter the first in a 10 piece Limited Edition Series called the Milano, what Joe considers his next level instrument. It's that great. Joe's insatiable curiosity has taken him off the beaten path to a line of unique guitars that harken back to the European electrics of the early '60s, particularly Italian makers, that over the years have become quite collectible in the vintage market.
Joe Yanuziello is an amazing talent; a builder of the very first rank. His reputation has exploded in the last 10 years, and for all the right reasons. His outstanding guitars are steeped in his deep understanding of unique yet classic designs. Yanuziello has been building his hollow "Stratotone" inspired guitars for the last 20 years, and the guitar world has fallen in love with them. Peppering his building schedule of electrics with acoustics, mandolins, and assorted special requests has kept him fresh and his talents finely tuned.
But like every artist Joe is always looking for new territory to conquer, the next mountain to climb. They were parallel developments alongside the great American makers.
Just as Joe's standard electric takes a Stratotone to the uppermost limits of lutherie craftsmanship, Joe has taken the design cues of those European models and raised them to the level of genius. Joe has brought extreme craftsmanship to their design, making them worthy of the finest Luthier made guitars available. From the build style, to the virtually all-made-by-Joe volume and tone knobs to the LED switches to the custom (and amazing) Mojo pickups, Joe has brought everything he has, all his skill and talents to uplifting the now famous Yanuziello brand.
This Milano has so many new and exciting features, so much back story, that I decided to do an interview with Joe and let him tell the story, in his own words. All you need on my side is that this is a very special, unique guitar with an extremely wide range voice, that besides being exquisite in every sense, covers sonic ground few guitars do. I love it!

ABOUT YANUZIELLO INSTRUMENTS
It certainly doesn't take a genius to realize that guitar builder Joseph Yanuziello is the real deal. What's "the real deal" you say? When it comes to luthiers, it means someone who has built a meaningful full-time career over a long period of time, developed the craft/art/voodoo of instrument building to the highest level, carved out their own niche in an overcrowded sea of brand names, you know, the real deal! There is something about a Yanuziello that is both plain-and-simple and somehow luxurious at the same time. In fact, Yanuziello's background in design and wood/metal fabrication has served him well in producing what he would describe as "modern vintage instruments." His interest in many musical genres is reflected in the different electric and acoustic instruments he produces. "The challenge is to keep it fresh and new and a continuous learning experience...the players have a lot to do with this." - JY
